# Restrict Developer Portal Account Access

Prevent unnecessary API key creation by restricting access to the developer portal. Your **Plex Champion** should grant access only to users who need it.

## Recommendations

* **Limit portal access** — Only grant developer portal accounts to team members who actively need to create or manage API integrations
* **Review access regularly** — Periodically audit who has developer portal access and revoke accounts that are no longer needed
* **Coordinate with your Plex Champion** — Your organization's Plex Champion is responsible for managing portal access requests
